  • Formed and directed the real estate operations and management company that managed over 105,000 apartments in more than 700 multi family residential communities ($10billion+)
     

  • Orchestrated and implemented, the successful conversion of more than 11,000 multi-family residential apartments and approximately 150,000 sq. ft of retail space, to condominium
    ownership ($2billion+).
     

  • Negotiated, Orchestrated and implemented, the largest ($3billion) direct
    purchase of assets (office properties and hotels) in the history of the Resolution Trust
    Corporation and its successors in interest, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the
    Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation.
     

  • Negotiated and Orchestrated the largest ($2.4 billion) direct purchase of assets
    from an insolvent financial institution in Eastern Europe.


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

American National Group, Inc., Dallas, TX
             • Chairman

    Company is a registered investment advisor and ERISA-qualified money manager,    specializing in real estate investments and lending for its pension fund clients.

Created policies for general management, operations and investment.

Directed acquisitions and dispositions of multi-family properties and directed a 3,200 acre Planned Unit Development including its successful sale.

Directed ongoing condominium conversion partnerships including profit distributions and structure for federal tax reporting.

Negotiated the $2.4 billion purchase of the entire asset portfolio of Credit Bank in Bucharest, Romania.

Negotiated and supervised the development of the Gardens of the Nativity, City of Bethlehem, for an alliance of Christian churches.  Negotiated all the agreements with the Palestinian National Authority as well as the participation and future ownership of the Park and Gardens by the Episcopal Church of Jerusalem.

The original founder of Patriot American Investors. The original designer of the
overlay acquisition formulas and debt and acquisition structures which together,
formed the basis of the purchase from the Resolution Trust Company (RTC) and
its successor in interest, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

The sole negotiator for all of the real estate terms and conditions and made all of
the property selections throughout the U.S. Negotiated all critical business
points, including the equity requirements, the waiver of interest on the purchase
money mortgage for the first seven years and payment of cash flow interest
thereafter.

The Patriot American acquisition was the largest ($3 billion) single contract for
direct purchase of assets (office buildings and hotels) in the Resolution Trust
Corporation's history.

    Presided over ownership and/or management of more than 700 multi-family residential communities comprised of over 105,000 rental apartments, townhouses and condominiums, as well as office and retail properties and hotels.

Presided over all phases of the conversion of over 11,000 rental apartments
to condominium ownership including; final decisions on (i) the legal portion of the
conversion procedure, (ii) legal process to complete multiple sales, (iii) final approval of
the acquisition of all properties selected for investment or condominium conversion, (iv)
final approval of sales pricing, marketing and property upgrade and construction.

Chief executive officer of The Titan Group, Ltd. and Sovereign Construction Co, ltd,
(subsidiaries of Hanover Companies Incorporated). Builders and Developers of numerous properties including Roosevelt Island, New York and fee paid General Contractors for  construction projects including, (i) Cleveland Hopkins Airport, Cleveland, Ohio, (ii) The United States Gold Depository, Fort Knox, Kentucky, and (iii) the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York
